Rode up to the visitor on horseback from the Saddle dam parking lot off Kelly Ridge Rd. CA Park rangers were knowledgable and friendly. We took the opportunity to wiew the dam construction exhibit and some of the local wildlife. A very nice day.

Stopped by to get out of the hot weather. Always learn something new about the Oroville area. Rangers are very friendly and informative. Saw the detailed progress on Oroville Dam Spillway Construction.

The Ranger that was there was very informative. We took our time going through the whole museum, watching a 4 minute video of the Oroville Dam break, then we walked up the tower to have a 360 degree view of Oroville! Very nice visit.

Visiting in mid-June, view from the observation tower is beautiful. Quite a story is told in the visitor center where a flooding catastrophe was averted in 2017. Rebuilding the dam continues today. The smell of the mountain air and 360 degree view is worth the...More

I have to say, this is possibly the best Visitor’s Center I have visited in terms of value per square foot. While small, the staff will start up the short ‘History of Oroville Dam’ and the “Spillway Incident” videos and they are worth every penny....More

Not at the visitor’s center which is staffed by US National Park Rangers. Google private rental companies at Lake Oroville.
