Since the spillway breach flooded our only park and access to the Lake is limited, we don't feel like it serves our needs. The State of California and the DWR are responsible for the lack of recreation areas.

It's far enough away you couldn't hear anything from the spillway work, even the lights are quite a ways away from Bidwell Canyon campgrounds. You should sleep fine, the work is a long ways away, miles away.
