Excellent views despite the haze from the wildfires. Not much to do once you are at the top. Too cold and windy to swim so would not advise to pay the extra for that. Restaurant is pricey but food was good.

Decided that $40 each was too much to ride tram and we didn't want to use the pool up top. TOP TIP - take the Shirley Canyon Trail - very strenuous but worth it and catch tram back. Worth it for the views.

We started out doing a hike around Shirley Canyon and had a wonderful lunch at Rocker! Then headed up the beautiful tram ride! Views are breathtaking. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the roller skating, we loved the hiking! The thing I was most...More

Pricier than I expected, but the fares include usage fees for the swimming pool at the top, as well as the play center and guided hikes. If I were to rate the guided hike by itself, it would merit five stars alone.

If you don't scare of hights, it is perfect for you. But if you are - you can conquer your fear! Amazing view at the mountains around and valley under. In the summer you can see trees and lakes. And then you don't need to...More

I considered only giving 2 stars, but bumped it up to 3 because of the views. Yes, it's beautiful, but definitely didn't think it was worth the outrageous price. Here are a few observations: 1. The hours are 10am to 5pm. That's a very late...More

The tram ride was nice, and the views at the top were amazing. We bought a package that included skating and the pool. The skating was closed- they had barrels full of water that were to weight down a tent the night before. They decided...More

If you are ever in squaw Valley and have the chance to take this tram ride to the top it’s amazing. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the views from the top or second to none.

My family took the gondola down after a day spent hiking. Enjoyed the views and had fun on the ride. Can get packed, so if you want a seat, get there early and stake out a spot. Highly recommended

I believe it was $42 for just the tram ride up and down (good all day for as many rides as you want to take) or $55 to include access to the pool/hot tub (summer) or skating (winter).
