We went to Squaw Valley because it was the only tram in town. Heavenly's tram was not running. Tram was $46/pp and we shared with late season skiiers. Tram was in good working order and we had amazing views of all of Squaw Valley. Best...More

Because many Squaw Valley lifts and runs are accessed only at the mid-mountain level, it becomes necessary to ride the tram or the gondola up the hill. I prefer the gondola because it offers such impressive views on the way up and back down.

A little pricey but the views are amazing. Plus you get to see the Olympic museum at the top. The guide on the tram also provides commentary. Worth it.

The tram is a must if you have $42. The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable. Of course there are excellent views. About 50 people fit in the tram. The tram was very stable. There is a bar at the top where we stood for...More

Although we rode the Aerial tram to get to the top to ski, if you are not a skier and want to see a spectacular view this is a must! Don't miss it! You'll SEE why when you ride!

The tram was out of service due to mechanical problems during our visit. Our group's planned dinner at the top of the tram was cancelled.

Exciting ride up the mountain, feels a little dangerous, but it's not. Up on top there are views of Lake Tahoe. A bit expensive.

It wasn't chip to get to the top by using the gondola only to enjoy the view. I am not skiing like the rest of my family. I am more like a family photographer. The views up there were awesome, so I focus on that....More

I believe it was $42 for just the tram ride up and down (good all day for as many rides as you want to take) or $55 to include access to the pool/hot tub (summer) or skating (winter).
