One of Oakland's landmarks...you can see it from far away up against the hills, especially when it is lit up at night. Good place for geneology research.

You don't have to be a church member to enjoy their spectacular view of the bay area. I recommend you bring the binoculars. Also, the flowers and fountains are also beautiful.

I am not religious, but this is quite a beautiful building. I like to go up at Christmas time and look at the display of lights and religious ornamentation.
