It's huge, so binoculars are a must to really appreciate the birds. Otters are plentiful in the harbor area. There's plenty of free parking & the beach area is large. (There are restrooms there, too)

lovely, long long walks to and around Rock. several sea lions and otters. don't forget binocular! great waves for sufers. morning mist however can be the case. beautiful sunsets.

Big rock. You can't miss it. Pretty interesting geological feature right there in Morro Bay. Lot's of places to park next to it to walk around and see the beach. Watch out for kids and birds.

Sorry, it is illegal to climb the Rock as it disturbs the birds and their nesting areas. I think someone tried a while back to propose to his girl friend and got arrested. I think some of the parks in the area have hiking... More
