We had a great time kayaking with our guide Rebecca. We went out on the 9 am Monterey Harbor tour and we highly recommend the morning tour as there were fewer kayaks in the harbor at that time. Several people in our group had never...More

Our lead guide Gentry was very knowledgeable and we learned all about the slough's animals, plants and connection to the greater watershed. It was a great day on the water!

We signed up for a 2 hr tour and we shared a 2 person kayak. While the paddling wasn't strenuous, having another person to paddle at times made it easy to take a break. 2 hrs in a kayak seat is a long time, and...More

My sister and I kayaked Monterey Bay. Our guide was amazing. The highlight of the trip was the sea lions- they swam right under our kayak (we had exceptionally clear water that day and could see to the sea floor) and followed our kayak. I...More

No. This trip includes personal floatation device and trained safety personnel in a fairly calm Bay without waves. If you follow instructions it is difficult to fall out of the kayak, because they are very stable.
