Short walk to and out on the pier. Fun watching and listening to all the sea lions. Definitely worth the free entry and views.

Public parking is right at the pier, around $2/hr, as well as some restrooms. Signs walking out to the pier appear to warn you from walking out, but several folks walked out, and we passed several CG personnel, so it must apply only to the...More

Great view of the ocean and wildlife. Find a spot to sit and relax and enjoy the views and sounds of the animals.

This is where all the sea lions hang out. Great for kids. But beware: it smells like poo pretty much the entire length of the pier. These Sea Lions are smelly beasts

Go here to get your fill of wild sea lions and sea otters!!!! I could spend hours watching and listening to them. It's amazing! and they are WILD. This is not an animal park! They are everywhere!

We discovered the Pier by accident and saw sea lions on the rocks, seagulls in their nests, and a huge colony of Cormorants at the end of the Pier with several nests. Coast Guard boats were also interesting to see.

This is a lovely walk to see seals close up. It is amazing to have them so close to you. We saw one that was injured by a propeller and contacted animal control. It is worth the walk out the pier.
