The Monterey Aquarium is an incredible jewel for the young and old. It is interactive, it is educational and very entertaining. I always go to the Aquarium when visiting as it is rewarding each and every tim!

I was admittedly expecting a lot when I arrived as the Monterey Bay Aquarium had been touted as one of if not the best in the world. While the expertise and work done by the aquarium is definitely top notch, I was a little disappointed...More

Nice place to take kids, but the price of admission isn’t worth it. We’ve been to nicer aquariums on the East Coast (Camden) at the same price point. There is very little variety of big fish, turtles, etc. in comparison. It seems that they spend...More

We've been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium at least ten times; it is so good that it warrants a repeat visit every few years. The displays are outstanding, demonstrating the amazing diversity of local sea life. Highlights include the remarkable two-story kelp tank (mesmerizing and...More

This was a very nice aquarium to spend a couple of hours in, especially if you have young children. It is rather dimly lit in certain areas, so you will want to watch your step. It is incredibly busy on weekends, even a few hours...More

This aquarium is the best I've ever been to. It's worth the price of admission. From the minute I walked in and saw the kelp forest I was hooked. The exhibits were jaw dropping. I learned so much. I got to see cuttlefish with their...More

What’s great about this museum is there is touch zone where you can touch starfish, kelp etc. Jellyfish exhibition was pretty too. 大きな水槽、昆布が大量にあり、発光するクラゲの展示がかなり多くて、思っていたより見応えのある水族館である。

I’m sure there are ways to find cheaper admission but otherwise an adult is fifty dollars for the day. The exhibits are phenomenal, can’t say enough about this place. It’s alive with marine life, the employees are super friendly and helpful. Give yourself at least...More

This is one of the nicer aquariums I have ever been to. The entire place has a feeling of being cared for and well-kept. There was almost no water smell even, which was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the exhibits, but most of it is...More

I would telephone the Aquarium to be sure. Frankly, the noise levels, the crowds, and often dark recesses of the building (to allow you to view the lighted tanks better) may be upsetting to your animal. You would not want... More
