A short review, but well-meaning. One of the loveliest places on the entire planet. Would like to just sit here, meditate and enjoy, forever.

Love visiting the Mendocino Coast. So many beautiful places to stop and see the redwoods and beaches. Lots of interesting shops and good restaurants. The scenery is the best.

I love the Medicino Coast! It was our highlight. It is surrounded with huge rocks in the ocean. Many of these huge rocks had a hole or a cavern. It looked like a sculptor chiseled these rocks and made it so beautiful! It was also...More

Blue ocean, high windy cliffs, sites where several movies have been shot. Cute town with many artsy stores.

Every mile a photo opportunity. Mendocino County has everything you could want. Redwoods, bluff, sandy beaches, lovely hotels and great people

There are so many beaches and places to go around Mendocino. Our expectations were met and beyond, even though the water was really cold in September.

The USA sadly can overdo it’s places of beauty & leisure. The Northern California coast overdelivers on style & beauty with surprisingly minimal hype & overkill. Highway 1 is as good north of SAN Francisco as it is going South but quite different!

Walk the Mendocino headlands, drive through old growth redwoods, see harbor seals otters, every type of bird. The air alone is healing. Cloudy or sunny, the perfect (& quiet) stretch to enjoy living & rejuvenate -- for free!

There’s so many things to see and do here. Plus is one of the prettiest places on earth. What’s not to love, you gotta see it yourself.

There are several walks along the coast. Actually I think the one in Fort Bragg is nicer than the one in Mendocino. Also, the private garden walk in Fort Bragg is worth the admission price.
