Mat outside said "Wipe Your Feet and Get a Prize". I'm up for prizes. The charming man volunteering at the desk gave me a decal. Fine by me. Interesting place but not as much interesting history as Kelley House. But free, so well worth stopping by.

Staffed by GREAT state parks volunteers. Nice displays about the village of Mendocino and the logging industry that built it. Great local art. Some videos to watch, too. Too bad the upstairs isn't restored and available to view.

Made the house so much more fun and interesting. The house itself is fine. Not much to learn but enjoyed the views from Windows and the displays.
