Mix a charming town and beautiful ocean views and you get Mendocino. We were lucky that the rain stopped long enough for us to explore the Headlands.

The park sits atop a beautiful bluff with the historic buildings of Mendocino all around. You will not find a more lovely spot!

Absolutely beautiful area to see the cliffs and coastline. Easy to walk from town or parking is available too. Some of our best pictures came from this stop! Stunning landscape!

It was a couple of cool, but sunny, days that we were in Mendocino and walked along the headlands. The views would be tremendous anytime, but were all the better in early March when the grey whales were passing by on there northern migration. There...More
