Neighborhood: Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

I loved their delighted reaction when we walked in, you never forget your first view of the interior of the Pantages! Hollywood glory at its finest, over the top, golden fantasy of Regency deliciousness at its very best! The show was amazing, the girls loved it. The staff were helpful and so nice with the hard parts of their job with the public. They have to look through purses and carry in’s and some people were not nice to them but they carried on to the next person with a welcome and a smile! Big kudos to them for their amazing attitudes. Can’t wait until the next time!!Visited March 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 5, 2023

What a show palace. Be warned, however, the area around the theater is the pits. No where to eat dinner either. Back to the theater - the place is a masterpiece of Art Deco décor.Visited June 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten June 25, 2023
- Erina198 contributionsPantages was a great day tripThe Pantages theatre is a beautiful venue! Its right in the middle of all the action on Hollywood/Vine/Argyle. We sat in the mezzanine and felt that it was still a great view. The place is aesthetically pleasing filled with art-deco everywhere. They have ample bathrooms located in various areas for your convenience, The ushers that we came across and asked questions were very friendly. Before the show, we were reminded not to use any phones/video which was reassuring. We're here to watch a performance not people holding up their phones. As for parking, we chose to park in the Pantages theatre garage up the street, Yucca/Vine. We paid for it online and it was a short walk down Argyle street and you're at the theatre. We printed our parking receipt and showed the attendant, easy peasy. We chose the 2pm showing and we were allowed to park from 12pm -6pm. Depending on what time you leave the show, you may have to wait to leave the garage. We left right after the show, walked to the garage and got out in about 10 minutes because of the line to get out, no biggy. Additionally, the garage has tandem parking BUT you don't have to wait for the owners of the car behind you to leave. The attendant keeps the keys of the car behind you so they can move it if you arrive before the owner of that car. We didn't have to tell the attendant because he saw us right when we got in the garage. He kindly moved the car behind us and we were out of there. Overall, great experience and will definitely come back.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 2, 2023

Writing a review for seats in Orchestra ZZ 2,4,6,8. DO NOT purchase these seats. They are the LAST row of the theatre directly against the wall. The floor is uneven and difficult to walk on and the leg room is far less than the seats in the other rows.

The theatre was amazing as always, very helpful audience services helped my daughter when the sole of her boot broke. Six is an 80 minute musical sold at a full musical price. Great show, but the divas in the cast took one look at the dozens of young girls waiting for autographs, turned up their noses and hid inside until everyone left. Absolutely this is your choice ladies, just remember who buys the tickets and we will remember

Amazing theater. Beautiful interior. Comfortable seats. Large clean bathrooms. Tonight I saw Cats. The show wasn't my favorite of the theater made up for it. Ripoff parking all around. Park on the curb. Do not be lured in by one of these parking lots that has the theater name on it.

Beautiful Theater in Hollywood, CA. If your visiting California or if you've never been it's a must. Best place to see some top notch theater. I have seen many musicals here. Gorgeous historical building. Many excellent restaurants nearby. You can see all the famous Hollywood stars on the sidewalk as you walk around. A must visit. This last show I saw was Moulin Rouge..super fun ..I highly recommend.

Saw Sal Vulcano last night (hilarious!) but the theater was a mess. They randomly turned on all the lights for the last 45 minutes of the show. Have you ever seen a comedian with all the lights on? Ridiculous. Despite requests, the lights stayed on. The last 15 minutes there was a guest who started yelling inappropriate things and spilling his red wine everywhere- the ushers did nothing.

This is a beautiful theatre, designed like the classics! Came specifically to see Hamilton, and as soon as you walk in the door you are met with an incredible theatre atmosphere, it immerses you in the experience. Seats are comfortable, views were pretty good.

Does anyone know when individual tickets will go on sale for May 2020, it’s only seems to be season tickets currently available?

Hi, I'm a season ticket holder as well. Individual tickets won't bevavailable for a few more months, in my experience, for 2020. Season tickets were a wise choice for me as I attended three shows this year, with guests. I recommend them.

Depends on what is playing and the actual scene involved and how tall the person is in front of you. Best to get aisle seat towards the center. Sound is good in all seats.

We'll be attending Hamilton next month. Any suggestions for a dinner close by? Also, would Lyft be easier than parking? We're staying at the Best Western by the Bowl.

We took Lyft to and from Pantages to see Book Of Mormon. Full house and we had no problems with getting a ride there and back. Didn't have to wait long before we were picked up at the end of the show.
