Beautifully designed and built, captures the authenticity so well, it likes walking through a storybook. Visitors dress as Harry Potter characters too. - Lisa M4 contributionsReally feels like you are living in Hogwarts !This is immensely realistic and amazing. It honestly feels like you are in the books and movies. The attention to details is just perfect, from the crashed car in the second movie to the sorting hat, dumbledor’s office and so on. The wait to the attraction is an entire experience. Then, the attraction itself : it’s my personal favorite. Universal is not about rollercoasters and sensational drops and all, but Harry Potter gives you a bit of sensations, while perfectly reproducing the HP world. Make sure you go there early in the morning so there’s not a lot of waiting, it’s 100% worth it.Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 8, 2023
- FamilyTraveller502 contributionsGreatThis a great area of Universal even if you’re not superfans. The Forbidden Journey ride is great, but the flight of the hippogriff ride is very short and slightly disappointing. The set is great, and realistic. Only visit Ollivanders if you’re happy to pay $65 for a wand, because your children will definitely want one after the experience, especially if they’re the “chosen one”! The interactive wands are great. Butterbeer is around $9.50. The foam topping is very sweet and you can probably share one between 2 of you.Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 16, 2023

My kids really enjoyed this and so it was the one saving grace of our trip to LA because I think I made the wrong choices for some of the things we chose to do but now I know for next time.

A beautiful rendition of HP, it is like some of the books are brought to life, there is plenty to see and everywhere you look there is some amazing detail. I have not done any of the rides so cannot comment on them but the shops have some good stuff although it is very expensive and you could probably buy cheaper elsewhere.
It does get crowded and they do limit the number of people in the shops as they are not the biggest
You have to try a butterbeer, the frozen is the best, although once you have had one, you will probably not have the desire to have another one, it is very sweet and sickly
Definitely a must for Harry Potter fans and it is not bad for those that are not, it may even convert you

You have to visit the Three Broomsticks for lunch and you have to try Frozen Butter Beer. There is also a ton of cool merchandise.

This is probably the best part about Universal Studios in LA. Both the rides and the Hogsmeade experience are fun and engaging. But yes, tons of people - so brace yourselves…

So much to see and do. Great for kids (and kids at heart) - didn't buy a wand but think for the potter-philes visiting Olivanders and taking the wand on a tour of hogsmeade would be amazing. Trying and see at night if you can!

The wizard in world is worth a day by itself. The three broomsticks serves really good food in an authentic environment.
The whole area is designed to give you the feel of being in the wizarding world. You can even send a postcard with a Harry Potter post mark - so cool

Is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter technically the same as Universal Studio Hollywood, i.e. it is part of the same park and you do not need to pay a separate fee for Harry Potter?

A que hora recomiendan llegar? Dice en descripción es 1 o 2 hrs.. es así?? Se puede solo recorrer esa zona o se paga el acceso a todo el parque universal? Gracias
How long does it take to explore the Harry Potter universal

Exploring could take just an hour - but immersing yourself in the entire experience could take up to 3 hours.
Seriously, I took the whole ass day to do the other par rides and experiences, and didn't even get a chance to properly shop at HP land, because I had to stand in the queues for the rides you cant miss - them queues is LONG!

There is a shop easy to find that is right under the castle. That is the simple one to explain how to find and I know that it is in that one. But sure that you can find in the other gift shops as well.

Planning to visit Los Angeles at early December, thinking of booking a Go Los Angeles city pass which includes our entrance in universal studios and I was wondering if you have to pay something extra for the Harry Potter experience or also if there is a reserve option(I’ve read somewhere about it).thank you for your time😊

Planning to go to Universal Studios Hollywood this coming Wednesday (September 25). How crowded do the rides for Wizarding World get on a weekday? Should we plan to head to these rides first thing when we get to the park or can we do it anytime without waiting too long?

If you have older kids or adults, consider the single rider line. No, you won't get to ride together but the wait time is considerably shorter and you don't have the additional FastPass cost. Not a good option for groups/families wanting a group experience.

Do the wands work at both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood?
