We did the Livermore wine and food pairing trolley and stopped here. Great choice of wines we tasted. Loved their petite Sirah. Staff were great and knowledgeable about the history of the specific wines.

We enjoyed sitting in the grassy area and enjoying food and wine tasting. Concannon is a very nice winery in Livermore.

We absolutely love visiting Concannon. The Estate wines, the grounds, and the approachable personalities in the tasting room make this a destination worth visiting often. Most recently, we gathered with friends and celebrated a birthday under the pergola with a few bottles purchased in the tasting room. The vineyard is expansive and the tasting room is gorgeous. The special events are also worth every penny. …

I've been to Concannon several times, but recently we organized a small family gathering there one Sunday. They are so gracious. We were able to reserve a picnic table for our group so no one had to arrive extra early to secure a spot. Great shaded lawn. There is an adjacent 'bar' area where we could purchase bottles in addition to the tasting room in the main building. Their wines were delicious.…

My family and I stopped into the tasting room on July 25th. I am giving them two stars for their wines alone. Customer service was frankly, atrocious. I would give zero stars for customer service if I could. My sister wasn't feeling well during the visit, so she opted out of wine tasting almost immediately. She hadn't taken a sip of wine before she decided that she wasn't going to partake in the tasting. We were served by Chuck, who seemed fairly knowledgeable about the wines upon initial introduction. However, it was apparent that he was more impressed with the group of girls that he was serving at the bar next to us, which was evidenced by the heavy-handed pours he was more than happy to dole out in stark contrast to the pours we were receiving. His general demeanor was anything but warm and inviting, which is pretty sad and inexcusable when you work in a customer service position in which you are forced to deal with people ALL day. The icing on the cake was when my Dad decided to purchase two bottles of wine following the tasting. He purchased a bottle of the 2016 Mother Vine Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of the 2016 Nina's Cuvee Petite Sirah. At most distinguished wineries, tastings are comped or at least partially when you became a wine club member, or buy a bottle of wine. When my Dad asked Chuck about the winery's policy on compensation for tastings, Chuck was quick to let us know that Concannon only covers tasting room fees if you are a wine club member. I understand that Chuck isn't responsible for creating winery policies, but he is responsible for the condescending comment that came out of his mouth next... Chuck had the audacity to retort, "Well I didn't charge you for HER tasting," insinuating that he was doing us a favor by not charging us for my sister not feeling well and choosing to sit the tasting out, even before she had ONE sip of wine. It truly is a shame that Chuck's lousy customer service and his brazen comments left such a bad taste in our mouths, as my family and I were largely impressed with the red wines we tasted that day. Concannon should reconsider their policy on tasting room fees for customers who purchase at least a hundred dollars of wine, in the interest of competition with most wineries in the area.…
