Unique and beautiful spot to start your walk of Windansea. Go in the evening for the best crystal sky and sparkling Pacific. Amazing spot for sunset photos. I never heard this place called 'Mushrooms' as I saw it called here. When I grew up nearby...More

We came here one day specifically to check it out as potential snorkeling spot. We walked along the beach, starting at its southern end, near the "mushrooms," and walked north until we reached an access stair that we took back to the street above. We...More

This is a great place for tidepools with the kids and an excellent place to take sunset photos as the rocks turn a beautiful golden color and the sun reflects off the pools of water. Very relaxing and beautiful place

Located in a residential neighbourhood, this beach is reached by a few streets that lead down to one street that runs along the beach, to which one one gains access by going down some steps that are provided at intervals. There are small tidepools for...More

Check the tide chart and wear sandals. This is more like another planet when the tide goes out than what we've seen of Mars!

This is a really neat place on the water for exploring the tide pools and cool rock formations. There was an amazing amount of sea life when we were there and the photo opportunities in different light are incredible! Highly recommended!
