I was very impressed with this campus. It is so pretty and walkable. The library is such an unusual structure (pictured here). There is a path to follow that looks as if you are walking on a snake. On top of the engineering building is...More

Great University at a great location in a great city of San Diego. The campus is beautiful and vibrant. Many restaurants in the Price Center area. Good bookshop, many beautiful Eucalytus plantations and an iconic Giesel Library build. Don't miss seeing Fallen Star building on...More

UCSD has a beautiful campus. Many mature shade trees as well as newer drought tolerant plantings. Great for a stroll on a hot day. There are also walking paths through wooded areas. Observe parking regulations carefully as noted on signs

We flew to San Diego for our son's graduation ceremony. Although it was cold, the school had a tented store with a lot of sweatshirts + 25% off. Perfect for the cold windy day of graduation. The keynote speaker was great, she was down to...More

UCSD hugs the ocean. It's campus is absolutely inspiring, filled with unique architecture, lush trees and an outdoor sculpture that playfully inserts itself among as well as on top of the buildings. Much care and planning took place to build a university that ranks as...More

UCSD is in a very modern city. When we visited in March 2018, it appears an elevated road was being installed right along the eastern edge of the school. However, once on campus it is a self-contained "city." There are many modern research buildings but...More

We toured the campus over Spring break and our guide, Patrick, was engaging and informative. This campus is quite large, but everything was very clean and well kept. We ate lunch at Lemongrass in the food court which was located near the bookstore. The food...More
