Amazing experience!!

Myself and my son took some lessons with Micky who was absolutely great and very knowledgable. We took the small and bigger cat out on two occasions, once to Kon rong and the second time around the island off mai pai bay. Great value and can’t recommend enough if your spending time on KRS. A must do!!

Fun sailing trip @Koh Rong Sanloem

We rented the small catamaran, the Hobie Wave, for a 2 hour sailing trip around M-Pai bay.

Mickey provided us with clear instructions regarding the use. I mentioned my experience with sailing and after 5 minutes we could already start our adventure.

The catamaran is in good condition and easy to use. We had an amazing morning!

I would personally highly recommend. All equipment is in good condition en Mickey is helpfull, friendly en has years of experience in the business.

Wonderful sailing opportunity!

I was very lucky to meet Micky as I was walking along the beach on Koh Rong Sanloem Island. We soon found out we had more than one passion in common so we ended up meeting every few days to sail and to play chess. Micky is an easy going teacher and willingly shared his time and knowledge to help me improve my capabilities. It was a perfect occasion to learn to fly the hull on the windiest days or to practice basic manoeuvers on calmer ones. I had an amazing time and I totally recommend booking a lesson with Micky or simply renting out one of his different catamarans for a nice excursion on the bay! Thank you so much!

Nice sail on Sihanoukville

Nice, well maintained catamarans. Unfortunately, there are only two left, so we took the smaller one for the both of us. The trip was a bit slow as a result, but still quite pleasant! Micky is super nice and laid back but on top of his stuff. Really nice guy, worth to go at least for a chat with him :-)

NB: the place has moved a few months back following beach 'purge' for new development (SV is a big freaking construction site these days), it's now further towards otres 2 than indicated by google.

Fun day of sailing

My husband has always wanted to learn how to sail, so I did some research and came across Micky's business on Otres Beach. So glad we booked with him! He gave us a quick 30-minute lesson and then we were off on our own. We've never sailed before and the winds were strong that day, but we managed and had a great time. Micky's an excellent instructor and his prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Spectacular day of sailing -- 8-12 knots, fantastic

Micky gave us the directions and it was easy to follow. He set us up with a great Cat and we went out and around a nearby island. then had lunch at a nearby restaurant which was great and then, of course, we finished with the 8 dollar Thai massage on the beach. Thanks Micky!!

Chill sailing off of Otres Beach

I grew up sailing Hobbie Cats so when I found Sailsihanoukville, I couldn't resist the opportunity to take one out for the morning. I hadn't made a reservation or contacted Mike but I showed up at 10 am. Although Mike wasn't there, all his friendly neighbors offered to give him a call and he was there in 15 minutes. He had the cat ready to go 10 minutes later and I was off having a great time. Nice winds and a trip around the nearest island was exactly what I was looking for. Mike was super helpful and a great guy! Will be back when if I visit again. Thanks for a chill sail session!

Winds were perfect ; steady and sweet! Great get away from the bustle of the city and chill out on a 17 foot Hobie in great shape. Got a little too aggressive on a jibe and tipped her but Micky came quickly to help out. Happy sails to you if you get the chance!

One hour of perfect sailing

We found out about Mike’s place here on tripadvisor and were instantly sold on the idea. Only problem was that we did not have more than an hour or so to spare in our transit going to Koh Rong.
Boy oh boy, was it worth it! Mike used some time with us on the boat explaining some basics and then we were off.
So nice to just be gone with the wind, if even only for an hour!
