We really enjoyed our visit to the surfing museum! The guide was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable of surfing history. A long-time surfer himself, there was no shortage of stories about the world records broken or the famous surfing legends who started the trend. The memorabilia was a nice representation of the sport. While small, there was a lot to captivate the audience. Took us less than an hour to get through and the admission “fee” is simply a donation in the amount of your choice.

We walked by and decided to stop in. It was interesting to see the history of surfing and visit with the two volunteers. Lots of different surf boards, photos and interesting things. Visit was about 20 minutes long and donation fee based.

Every timr I've gone there it;s like they think I'm going to steal something or other. And "give your 3 dollars or I won't talk to you or be nice.So yeah I don't like this place.

A cool place that is very small, and thus has very limited displays that are sometimes something less than inspirational.

Not much to see here except the worlds largest surfboard hanging outside next to a parking lot. They have a few interesting old boards hanging in the rafters, but I wouldn’t recommend paying to see them.

This is a great place for surfers and non surfers alike. They do a great job of having interesting displays and giving you a pretty accurate and insightful look at HB surfing past and present.

I'm not a surfer, only been on a board once in a lesson year's ago but still found this to be an interesting stop. If you are a surfer then I would say this is a must see stop for you. Nice collection of historic surf memorabilia and skate boards. Good stop to capture the feel of the surfer lifestyle over the years.

If you ever put a foot on ANY kind of board—surf, skate, or snow—this is the must-see of all museums in the world.

From little kid days, I grew up in HB. Always and still around the surfer guys ~ from Trestles, LaJolla and to Hawaii; specifically North Shore. This small museum is a must-see, at the very least, once. The folks try to change it up according to a specific surf related interest or agenda. The staff is friendly if necessary or one can browse independently. Personally, I get antsy, as in a little goes a long way. Albeit, my surfer guy friends seem to really like it; as is the real point. And, check out the gift shop, too. One may possibly find an item to purchase. Then, walk down to Duke's for Happy Hour. Have fun!

They have some great stuff, very rare and always changing! Stop by and check it out won't take long worth the stop. Great displays and as I said changing displays with some cool themes get on the email list and they will keep you updated on their newest display themes.
