Went to the pier and ate at Ruby's great old fashion hamburgers and shakes, The staff is great and so is the atmosphere. We rented bikes and rode down the coast line then off to the beach. My son took surfing lessons from a place...More

Visiting for the weekend and stopped by the Sugar Shack for breakfast and walked on the pier after. Waves were about 5 feet high so lots of activity on the water.

If you are in the area, I recommend walking out on the pier. We saw whales, dolphins and several schools of fish in the middle of the day. The pier is well maintained and feels safe.

It was very refreshing to get up and talk an early morning walk along the beach and Huntington pier. It was fun to watch all the surfers in the ocean and the fisherman along the pier.

The HB pier is a must see. Everything you would expect and more. Perfect view of the clean blue sea, and the everyday experience of living in surf city USA. Doesn't get any better than this!

The dog beach is located at the intersection of Goldenwest St. and Pacific Coast Hwy. It's one mile north of the pier. All dogs are welcome so be mindful of non-social dogs.

From the pier you need tackle , pole, cooler, ice, bait.. Deep sea charters have all that and go out miles for best fishing If you have the money, go deep sea. Mikw
