At Pech Merle, we are devoted to producing limited quantity, delicious Sonoma County wines that celebrate the passion from the vine to the emotion in the bottle. A lot of wineries say they're boutique. We are. With a total production of fewer than 3000 cases, our family run winery is able to source the very best fruit in Sonoma County to produce a repertoire of wines that speak for themselves. Our Downtown Geyserville Tasting Room is an "up-cycled chic" celebration of quintessential California style. We are dog friendly, and ADA compliant. Our vineyard designate wines include: - Laguna de Santa Rosa Pinot Noir - Moore Vineyard, Russian River Valley - Oehlman Pinot Noir - Oehlman Vineyard, Russian River Valley - Cuccio Zinfandel - Cuccio Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley - Treborce Zinfandel - Treborce Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley - Alioto Zinfandel - Alioto Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley - Rocky Ridge Zinfandel - Rocky Ridge Vineyard, Rockpile - Cabernet Sauvignon - Hall Ranch, Alexander Valley - Cabernet Franc - Hall Ranch, Alexander Valley

I was one of the first to walk in with my group and they greeted me warmly before I warned them, "We are 15 women here for a bachelorette weekend, is that ok?" They just laughed and quickly got us settled. The wine was fantastic...More

The owners were incredibly welcoming and especially generous with their food accompaniments- most welcome after a day of wine-tasting with bread and cheese. The name has a connection to prehistoric caves in southern France ---will have to return on a quieter day to hear more...More

An interesting selection of Russian River wine by the owners of the vineyard. Nice ambiance to the store front.

We found this tasting room after reading about it online for our 10 day west coast wine trip. Some very interesting wines. And love how they have several varietals grown in different areas so you can really taste the difference in growing soils. Tip: ask...More

We visited Pech Merle tasting room today, and had one of our best experiences at a winery tasting room. First the wine especially the Zinfandel was spectacular. Second, the best part of an experience at a tasting, is always the conversation. Jenna at Pech Merle...More

We've been to this tasting room twice - we enjoyed our first visit so much that we came back on our return trip to Sonoma Valley. Every wine we have tasted at Pech Merle has been delicious, but do not miss their rose and zinfandels....More

Whites here were fabulous- and the lady working there was so friendly and helpful. The tasting room is modern and gorgeous. Definitely some of the best wine we had.

This winery is small and friendly. The wines are moderately priced and quite good. Places to sit and enjoy both at the bar and on couches

Pech Merle was last winery of my wine tour, so I was totally drunk at this point. I'm 99% sure the friendly staff knew it too, but they took it well, and I think found it humorous too. I remember the wine being "good", but...More
