Its worth a stop and a look and see
Glass beach is a site seeing event with a small walk. There is a small amount of parking and there is a nice public restroom. We decided not to try and hike down to the beach. It is very steep and slippery and there are no ropes. Best to just take a walk and view the beach from the cliffs

    Sea Glass Collector’s Destination
I’m an international beach sand collector, so visiting Glass Beach in Ft. Bragg was a definite must. Nice town, but we preferred to stay for a couple of days in nearby scenic and quaint town of Mendocino. Visit the Glass Beach museum in town first; they have lots to see and love to answer questions about history of the place. We spent 2 hours collecting lots of beautiful “sea glass” on the beach, then had a late lunch of delicious pizza and beer in town before our return drive along the coast to Mendocino.

    Sea glass aplenty!!
I see reviews from people saying that there is no glass left. Well they must be blind or looking in the wrong spots. Most beaches you are lucky to find a peice of seas glass. Not here, you are lucky to find a rock. When the tide goes out a little you get to see even more sea glass. You will find a lot of whites, browns and greens. The reds and blues are harder to find but they are there. Well worth a trip to check it out.

It's a beach with a lot of very small pieces of pretty glass, not a beach glass supermarket.
I really don't know what people are expecting. If you want to see an entire gin bottle, look in your recycling bin. This is a beach. It has small pieces of glass everywhere. They are very pretty, but not something you would want to take home with you. Maybe just look at them. The hermit crabs are awesome. They are all over the place in the tide pools. Maybe they could call it 'hermit crab beach," but then people would complain that the crabs weren't big enough to eat. 🥴 Seriously, it's a cool beach in a fun town. Worth seeing.

A must stop in Ft Bragg
This is a must stop for us every time we visit. We can easily spend 2 hours here just combing through all the glass. It’s fun to find rare colors or different shapes. The parking lot can get full but there is also street parking. There are bathrooms. Going at low tide is important.

    Nice Beach
We stopped after riding the Skunk Train and was disappointed that so little of the glass was still there. I'm sure people have taken more than a handful of glass over time so it was a little disappointing to find so little. however, the beach was nice with some beautiful drift wood.

If you can't find glass on the beach them you are not looking.!!! There are thousands of pieces, you just need to look carefully and get your eye in Green, clear and brown (once you realise it is there) appear most common. Blue less so, red almost impossible Nice place to idle some time in good weather

    Beautiful & Unique!
This place is beautiful with lots of little glass gems & blue shells to gaze upon! Unique landscape. Wear sturdy shoes as a little climbing & maneuvering is required to get down to the beach.

Glass Beach, Fort Bragg - wonderful!
This was my highlight of our visit to Fort Bragg, and perhaps the highlight of our whole 3 week trip. We did a lovely coast top walk from the designated carpark, which eventually took us to Glass Beach, where we wandered around for about an hour and then continued on our walk. Fascinating to see all the little glass pieces which have been worn to smoothness by the tides. No big stones left, just the little ones, but it was wonderful. We also spotted a Great Blue Heron standing "fishing" on a rock further out into the sea! It's a shame that there wasn't a shop selling items made with the sea-glass - they would probably have done really well. Well worth a detour - and the coastal walk is fantastic!

I could never figure out if I was in the right place. It looks nothing like these pictures. It looked like a regular rocky beach to me. If you look close and squint you can find a few gems. I expected a different experience, but its nature. I suspect most of the good finds have been pilfered. Nice views.

Me and my family were in the area and have heard about this beach. I wanted to go check it out but it did not live up to my expectations. There was barely no sea glass and the beach was hard to find. Dogs are allowed which is nice.

Enjoyed our visit and getting to see the glass and tide pools. Would have liked more info about the history on signs at the site.

This beach is beautiful. I drove from LA to go see the glass and there’s not much glass but still worth the drive. The views are just incredible
