My family and I have rented from Burke's Canoes at least twice every summer for the last 10 years. The price of the canoe has increased to $75 & the registration process can take up to 45 minutes . In addition, there are more people...More

Shoutout to the man who asked my family, "Do you speak English?" "Do you understand English?" And continued to press them if they understood as if we did not have a full conversation IN ENGLISH not more than ten minutes prior. But I guess I...More

If I could honestly rate this place in the negatives I would. The man at the place asked my family, “do you speak English?” “Do you understand English?” And continued to press my family if they understood him, EVEN AFTER HAVING A FULL CONVERSATION WITH...More

I have been coming here since I was a toddler and it never disappoints! I brought a friend for her birthday and knowing that she was a rookie, I got 2 kayaks instead of 1 canoe. The canoes hold more but the kayaks are sooo...More

Nothing fancy at this stop, including the kayaks, but it was a lovely way to spend a gorgeous day on the Russian River, before tasting delicious Chardonnay at nearby wineries.

Very enjoyable day spent on the Russian River in the warm California sun. We chose a weekday to avoid the crowds, which turned out to be very quiet and peaceful. For a novice the trip wasn't very challenging; but, there are some "adventures" spots to...More

First, they need more people at the river to help you get your canoe. Once we paid and got our instructions we were sent down to the river. The canoes were all chained together and we sat around for awhile until we realized we were...More

We didn't see any people with dogs in their canoes! And if there are dogs at any of the private beaches, canoe renters are not allowed to land there anyway.
