Went here in April 2018 and proposed to my now fiancee at Heart Rock. the trail is easy to find and the path is well trodden. The Heart rock itself is amazing. Perfect for a couples or family hike.

An easy hike of about 30 minutes each way, but if you drive up the paved lane it is about half of that. Well worth it to see this unique heart shaped rock pool with an adjoining waterfall, we visited early May, but March/April may...More

Hike is a little over a mile. It's mostly an easy path, some patches can get slippery. The rock surrounding the heart is slippery, so be careful when climbing it!

If you go early, you can go up the paved one lane next to Camp Seely and snag one of the 5-6 spots at the trail head! You will be glad you did after hiking back. DO NOT go down the 45 degree trail just...More

A great hike that's not too strenuous great for couples to experience and see the natural heart and waterfall. Even in the summer it can get rather cool here and hike could take about 30-40 mins.

We were told this was such a simple easy hike.We took our small grandkids and we ended up turning back half way thru after we almost slipped down a very steep path. Would not try again.

Have been hearing about this hike for years, decided to check it out. We found it easy to find the trail, an easy hike for all age's. It's not well marked where the heart rock is, but we figured it out. A fair amount of...More

Easy and fun hike for parents and kids alike. One of our favorite things to do when visiting grandparents on the mountain. Beautiful in all seasons, but best in the spring. The trail is well maintained.

A group of us walked this trail and it turned out to be a wonderfully delightful hike for everyone--especially for our four-legged, furry friends!. Nestled deep in the forest, not too steep, able to cool off where natural pools of stream water had collected--loved it!...More

Nice hike, nice path, some minor ups and downs, runs along pretty stream most of the way, ending at a nice waterfall with view of the water carved stone outline of a heart.
