From start to finish this experience was smooth. My driver Sammy was punctual and a safe driver. My tour guide Princess was helpful with tips and photos at the falls. Both were kind to help me with a change of hotel destination and finding an atm during the trip. I would recommend this company!

My family and I enjoyed our time during our Oslob Whale Shark tour in Cebu. Julius and Cindy were very accommodating and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our experience. They went above and beyond to show us the natural beauty of Cebu and it’s surroundings. The local experience of checking out the lechon town of CarCar along the way, drinking coconut water, talking to people from the area were also well appreciated. We would definitely recommend them in any tour excursions as they are very enthusiastic, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Thank you for making our experience in Cebu memorable!

This trip was so enjoyable and absolutely worth it! Our driver, Arnell, and tour guide, Sheila, were very friendly and accommodating.
We were a group of 4. Arnell made sure we were comfortable on the 3 hour drive there and even recommended and stopped by a place for Lechon on the drive back to Cebu.
Sheila was very polite, proactive and positive during the whole trip. We were worried about getting seasick or the weather going bad, but she helped us feel comfortable and gave us some a lot of tips - like how to not feel sick, how to take better pictures, better time to go see the whales etc.
Overall, 10/10 and will rebook again. :)

Island Trek Tours provided prompt and excellent service from the planning of our tour package to ensuring that each day went well and as planned . We had amazing and unforgettable experiences swimming with the Whale Sharks, Sardine Run and Canyoneering.
Island Trek Tours is truly remarkable and highly recommended.
Special thanks go to Aurio for coordinating, Maria for her warm hospitality, Tony and Roy who were super attentive and went an extra mile to ensure safety at Canyoneering and kudos to everyone in the team who also assisted in capturing our memorable moments on photos and videos. Wishing all of you the very best!

Hello, I booked Whale Shark + Canyoneering day tour. I am unsure what to wear. If we are swimming with the sharks first, I think I would need my swimming attire. But then we will be going to canyoneering adventure - do I need to change into something dry for that? Because then it'll just get wet again. So do I bring 2 sets of dry clothes? Also, what is a good choice of footwear as we'll be jumping down waterfalls... Any help is appreciated.

Bring one set but stuff that dries quickly and underwear at the end for when you finish for the day. For the whale shark you take your clothes off and hop on the boat w ur sandals/flip flops and yo ur swimsuit. We didn’t do canyoneering but I noticed people wearing their shoes (like Vans) to jump into the water, don’t know why - maybe cause they have to hike through some forest to get to the jumping point? Or if you have sandals w straps that stay on your feet that’s also good. A towel, sunscreen, hat always needed.

Yes, book through their website and then they'll connect you to a driver who will pick you up at around 3:30AM. It's best to go this early to avoid the crowds and gaurantee thstbyou see the whale sharks because they will leave by 10AM

Hi just wondering how much is it to swim with the whale sharks?
I heard it’s diff prices for Pinoy’s and foreigners,is this true?
SLing
Hong Kong, China50 contributions
Yes different prices for locals and foreigners.
We went during peak season over Easter and it was approximately $250US for two people scuba diving. That included transport from Shangrila, breakfast and lunch and visit to the waterfalls.
Check with their website.

Hello, I want to do Bohol day tour. How much is the tour? Is it advisable to stay in Oslob rather than Mactan for this tour?

They are good about personalizing your tour. Send them an email telling them where you want to be picked up, what you want to do and where you want to be dropped off and they’ll give you a quote.

How can we do canyoneering for a cheaper price? Can we join other group? I see in the website Van ride is included. Do you pick up from the city?
Edgar M
Oslob, Philippines72 contributions
The cheapest rate we offer is P1,500 per person, this is only meetup in Matutinao Badian (near Kawasan falls entrance). Rate already includes gears, motorbike ride, guide and complimentary lunch. Yes we do pick up from the city, rates posted in our website already includes round trip transportation.

My friend and I are interested in doing the Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls tour but we both don't know how to swim. I saw on Island Trek Tour's website that knowing how to swim is a requirement on doing this tour. Is that really the case?

They have life vests, and there are plenty of people that will help you get through.

I will be traveling to Cebu and want to do the Canyoneering tour. I have a friend traveling with me who is on the heavier side. Hes very agile for his size however I wanted someone who has done this trek if they think its possible to do for him or if you need to be very athletic? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to miss this opportunity for myself if he cant go either so hopefully it will be fine.

Don't see why it would be an issue. As long as he can walk for up to three hours. Apart from that it is mainly flat ground with a lot of jumping and swimming. Oh and they need to be able to transport the two of you on motorbikes.
Only thing I can recommend is to bring GOOD water shoes. The ones you are given are crap and you will end up in pain with blisters.
