This is a terrific coral built edifice. Begun in the late 1800s to house Spanish Army soldiers but was halted in 1899 upon the arrival of the Americans. The coal stone construction utilized a bell tower's crumbled ruins.

It is just one of our stopovers in oslob while we went whale shark watching. It is quite interesting basing on the age of the structure. For me it looks a bit like Colosseum in Rome Italy, a mini version of it.
Also near their old church and the sea. It's still worth visiting.
