A very nice ambiance but overpriced tasting and wines. The focus is Merlot, but the other wines were better, esp. the Rose, Sav. Blanc and Bordeaux blend. The Merlots have varying degrees a strange synthetic bouquet.

Nice people and good Pinot. So many places and wines to choose from doesn’t make these wines a stand out for the price. This is all about your personal preferences. Give them a try.

We dined at Casanova and when we asked our Sommelier about tastings, he suggested this one. We had our elderly parents with us. We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a beautiful time. The wine flight was creatively served. They also provided cheese and...More

The setting is very bucolic and peaceful, and the service was very good. Georis is one of the few tasting rooms which provides complimentary bread and cheeses, which were quite good - a nice touch! We had a nice talk with one of the servers,...More

We countered the hot summer sun with a couple of chilled wine flights - each fun, different, and delicious. This was paired with cheese and yummy fresh bread from Corkscrew Cafe across the street (also owned by the Georis family, in addition to La Bicyclette...More

I tested wine, it was very nice, all the whites ones were very tasty and sweet, the place is quiet with a lot of flowers around, a good place to enjoy wine...even for French 😁

This was the first winery we stopped at on the walk. Chris was our waiter and he was knowledgeable and friendly. I love that the tastings are served outside with a beautiful view and a gorgeous atmosphere. We sat under a tree in the garden...More

Carmel Valley is definitely a must-do destination in wine country. It is much more my speed, often with casual atmospheres and amazing wines, avoiding the pretention of other regions. Georis was quite fun. The Belgian owners have spent a lot of time investing in their...More

Large stony room with 6' open fireplace at one end. Tables and chairs. Wine is brought to you along with cheese and bits of bread. Very congenial staff. We liked the Chard. and La Chapelle, a very good Rhone blend.

Had a fun time one afternoon while staying at the lodge. Good wine selection, laid back atmosphere, fountains, bug oak trees. Had their reds tasting- comes with a cheese platter- left a lot to be desired. Go for the experience. You can also order pizza...More
