We actually stayed within 17 mile drive so had the opportunity to drive the route several times viewing all of the beautiful sites. Tough to pick a favourite, but Spanish Bay was right up there - the surf was mesmerizing. Of course Pebble Beach golf...More

When in California, you must take the drive down the Seventeen Mile, it is a once in a live time opportunity to see the views, the gorgeous scenery and to the famous road that has been in so many movies. It is absolutely breath taking.

Combining a mix of old forest, coastal and magnificent homes it keeps ones attention. If one chooses to drive, but not stop the driver will definitely not see as much as the passengers . Due to locals. Curvingvriads, blind curves etc., it demands high concentration...More

I have lived on the West coast most of my life and I have to say this never gets old. Doesn't matter what the weather is like, fog, rain, sleet, sunshine, it's drop dead gorgeous!

Yes. There is an entrance in Carmel. When you exit on the northern side it links up to the main road going along the coast past Pacific Grove and on to Monterey.
