Nice views, great drive. Wasn’t too busy Was foggy but that’s normal I think for August - so not very warm! Pebble Beach golf resort pretty impressive. Def worth doing.

Pretty scenery out to the coast but otherwise quite uninspiring - just a long road with lots of wealthy people living there. Personally I wouldn’t want to live on a tourist route, and I don’t play golf

Everybody needs to do this at least once. Cure for depression, malaise, and worry for the world condition. Great for the eyes and soul.

17 mile drive is part of a gated community. We entered from the pacific grove gate and drove from there. Entrance fee is around $10.50. Well worth it. There are approximately 16-18 stops along the way. Some have picnic tables. Early in the morning, we...More

After starting our California trip in Los Angeles, i did the stereotypical rent a mustang convertible and drive up the PCH. This 17 mile drive portion is as good as advertised and my 10 year old was not once bored. Unbeatable views, especially on a...More

I had visited 13 years earlier - and yet the experience remained remarkably the same: Low flying mist, a little bit of wind - the perfect setting for a morning drive on 17-Mile Drive. Less than three weeks to go to the Concours d’Elegance. One...More

We took the scenic drive on a sunny day. It was really beautiful, with lots of nice places to stop and take pictures.

Always enjoyable to take the drive, meandering along the coast and marveling at the wonderful homes.

Beautiful drive along pretty coastline. Costs $10 to enter the area but well worth viewing. See Pebble beach and visit the golf club area. We saw lots of pretty humming birds on the flowers.

It depends on traffic, and how often you stop to take in the scenery or take photographs. It's 17 miles at 25 MPH.

Yes. There is an entrance in Carmel. When you exit on the northern side it links up to the main road going along the coast past Pacific Grove and on to Monterey.
