The hike was well worth the view at the end of the hike. Great view down into an amazing area with plenty of sea lions and small fish all around

Our favorite state park with superb ocean vistas. Many opportunities to see whales, sea otters, sea lions, and birds. Lots of hiking trails.

Yet another great place to stop and enjoy nature. Take a camera with a filter and a large amount of space as you might just fill it up.

Beach access to China Cove is unfortunately closed due to harbor seals pupping in the area. The trail above it is still open though to Bird Island, and offers excellent opportunities to view souther sea otters, seals, and sea birds from the headlands. Parking can...More

A short walk from the parking lot at the end of Point Lobos to Bird Rock or the end of the trails if hiking from further away, walking past China Cove and a view of Gibson Beach. Walk slowly, descend the stairs, stop and stay...More

Point Lobos has it all. Wind swept cypress trees. Rocky out cropping's that form small bays and tidal pools on the Pacific. Hiking trails and Beaches. Great place to spend a day at.

Hike to the top of the stairs and overlook China Cove. The water color is indescribably blue. This time of the year, the seals are nursing their pups. So worth the trip.

China Cove is at the south end of Point Lobos. Take the road heading south to the parking lot, then 10-15 minutes of hiking to watch the sea otters (from a distance, the path down to the beach was closed).

I'm sorry, I don't know either, but if you find you can it would be awesome. I will ask next time I am there and post it here.
