The only reason I didn't give this one a 5-star review is really out of frustration in booking this camp location. On the day of booking everyone has their finger on the booking and site location, and pushes the button at 8 am, when the...More

The views sold us; we were captivated by the beautiful wide expanses of open water. Perfection, clear and simple. On our walk back to Cardiff from Encinitas, we could not help but wander off the path to stop and drink in the visual beauty.

The San Elijo State Beach Campground is a fantastic campground. The facilities are very good. The campground provides direct access to the beach and some of California's best surfing. I love this place. I run my dogs thru the campground and area beaches regularly because...More

This is an old fashioned camping experience. They have 171 campsites and about 20 of them have hookups.. It has a wonderful family friendly beach and the surfing is great.
