Madrigal Family Winery was recommended to us by friends in Napa years ago. I'm so glad we took their advice and went! My partner and I have been members for almost a decade. I so appreciate their commitment to varietals not common in Napa and...More

If you are in search of a fun and memorable experience, and great wine, Madrigal should be "on your list" of places to visit. One of the few remaining family owned and operated wineries in the Napa Valley. Their very friendly and fun staff can...More

We were able to taste a number of delicious wines here, and though we visited in the winter, the weather was mild enough for a nice trip down to the vineyard. Friendly staff and good wine!

We made our first trip to Napa on November 11th and this was one of the wineries selected by our tour guide. We visited five wineries in total and Madrigal was definitely at the top of our list. Our Hostess was Barbara and she was...More

This is some of the most delicious wine coming out of Napa and it's very reasonably priced. No one makes a better petite sirah than Madrigal. A gorgeous tasting room. Chris and his staff are super nice, very knowledgeable, and a tasting here is always...More

Very informative tour of small family owned and operated winery. Great history of the valley as well as fantastic wines. Got to taste different grapes off the vine and see how they bring them in at harvest. Love the family story! Definitely recommend.

Where to start? The staff (Alejandro), the scenery, the outdoor terrace, it was all wonderful. I stopped in with 2 girlfriends, one had been here before, and it was exactly what you would expect from a 'Family' winery. It was very personable. Alejandro told us...More

Our assigned staff member was friendly but not incredibly knowledgeable about wine overall, or even wines in the region beyond the specific ones at their winery. Our tasting seats were also positioned right in front of an outdoor storage area (garbage?) versus one of the...More

I think well behaved kids would be fine. It is an outdoor setting but they could not run all over the place and obviously would not be allowed to taste. Linda
