Be sure to stop in here for all of your travel needs. They have plenty of maps and brochures and they are friendly and helpful. I liked the picture of Calistoga from the 1940's because it shows how well the main street was preserved.

If you are a first time visitor, as I am, then I suggest stopping here first. I did and I picked up some useful hints for winery visits tomorrow. Assisted by Rita who was very attentive. 2010

We did not visit any mud spas, although this area is known for them. I therefore didn't ask for any information about them at the visitors center, but I think they would be able to advise you about them.
