Was on a trip to Bodega Bay, decided to go on a hike here. From the parking lot, it is about a mile down to the beach, which is relaxing to watch the waves. Not many people on the trail on Thanksgiving morning. Would recommend...More

Not particularly beautiful until you get down to the beach itself. Beach and rock formations are gorgeous. This trail is steep. As some reviewers said, unless you are here anyway, not worth a detour.

If you are staying at the Bodega links area, this is a nice walk. Not many people use it. The beach is pretty. It doesn't quite compare to Bodega Head or the Coast beaches but we are up there a lot so like to take...More

Don't go out of your way to visit. It is a nice trail. One mile each way down some steps to a beautiful beach. If you are staying nearby like I was, it was a great way to walk down to the beach, but don't...More

Easy walking-access from R.V. Park area. The trail is flat, wide, firm-gravel surface, and 0.5 miles in each direction.. We walked the dog here every day, and really enjoyed it. Poop bags are provided, at each end of the trail, but a few sociopaths still...More

We did this hike first thing in the morning to try to catch low tide at the beach! It is a relatively easy walk down to the beach, the way back is mostly uphill. The parking is $7, but totally worth it. The path is...More

This was a morning well spent. We took the 1 mile walk down to the water from the parking lot. The beach is beautiful (think rocky coastline, an occasional cave), and on a Sunday in August mid-morning, we encountered four other people when we arrived....More

we stumbled upon this trail, and found it just magical. It's a quick hike with beautiful views and a secluded beach destination.

Enjoyed the easy trail down to the beach. Very quiet at the beach...enjoyed a peaceful walk along the beach and caught a glimpse of a family of dolphins.

The sights and smells along the trail were spectacular on this warm spring day. We loved looking around the tidepools on the beach. Check the tables and go when the tide is out for the best experience

From what research I've done, yes they do allow dogs on leash. All areas require the dogs to be licensed.
