We can sit up here and look at the ocean for hours. We can take a walk along the headlands and hope to see whales. The kids can climb on the rocks but are sure to heed the warning and stay out of the water....More

This was a nice spot to take a leisurely relaxing hike. There are a few parking lots and the trails are just a few yards away. There are lovely views of the Pacific Ocean on one side, and Bodega Bay on the other. You may...More

My review sites suggest this spot is dog -friendly - yes if you want to walk your pooch in a pot-holed parking lot. All trails are closed to dogs. Fabulous views, poor maintenance.

You will drive to Bodega Head and park. Be careful, the lot is not well maintained but you will be fine. Once there you can have lunch in your car--if you have food--or just get out and walk. There are great areas for walking or...More

Beautiful peaceful view of the Pacific Ocean. Very windy though here. Can’t get to the beach from here basically just a view point.

Great place to sit in your car and have lunch and enjoy the spectacular coastline, and it is very photogenic. Great hikes both north and south of the parking area, but do not get too close to the cliffs, as it is very unstable and...More

The drive to Bodega Head offer glimpses of the incredible beauty, and once you get there you know it’s a special place. I saw whales & sea lions (or maybe they were seals?), cormorants, herons, pelicans, even deer. There are clear, safe paths for exploring...More

Lots of turn-offs to look over the cliffs out to the ocean. Surfer area. Rugged coastline. Can drive up Highway 1 forever, the views are incredible. Great for photo ops!

Cold, windy headland, spectacular hike. Walk among the seabirds, windswept vegetation with views of both the bay and the ocean. This is a must do while wandering along Highway 1.

I did not take a dog that day and so did not look. In earlier times the dog was allowed on a leash. I think the trails are rather delicate now and much of the vegetation at the lower levels has blown away.

The parking lot has a few holes. But the viewing areas there are pretty easy and safe. There are trails on the hillside that power or beach wheel chairs could move on. But the view from the parking lot are real good.
