An excellent place to visit about the historical story of one of the kingdoms in Karangasem. Very good to visit with a knowledgeable tour guide who can explain the history and architecture of this place. A very well visited place, if your have more time.

We went there with our son (6yo) and we started the visit by feeding the fishes by walking on a nice path on the water. We finished it by swimming in the bath. Very nice palace to do with kids

Not very interesting after all the choices you have in Bali. If you have time it is ok but if you don't than don't waste your time

a perfect combination between balinese, chinese and european styles. Karangasem kings were great architects. This palace were the place where the last rajah lived. The rear buildings need quick restoration before they disappear.

Since we have two little children who are not yet enjoying sightseeing :-), we've reduced our day trips to half day trips and made sure we'd only visit two sights per excursion. So on this day we went to the Bali Aga Village and to...More
