Purchased the full day ticket for four people and did the return journey to Pooley Bridge. Dropped lucky with the weather as it was bright and sunny although there was a good frost in the morning so the seats were wet. Trip was very enjoyable...More

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write your review. Since all sailings were cancelled for four days during Storm Callum and the aftermath of high water levels and lake debris, we have had a very busy few days so apologies if the...More

We waited for a few days to sail on the steamer due to weather and high water. Glad we made it, well worth the wait. The scenery on either side of the lake is beautiful. Very professional and efficient service. Worth buying a day ticket...More

We took the trip around Ullswater on a lovely sunny day. Leaving from Pooley bridge we called at Howton then on to Aira Force finishing at Glenridding. The trip took just over an hour and gave great views of the lake and surrounding Fells.

Don't expect to get away with much change out of £40 for two people to sail Ullswater: £31.90 per couple for a return trip plus a £5.40p parking charge levied for a mere 4-hour stay at Pooley Bridge by a rapacious National Park authority. Finally:...More

The weather made all the difference to this day. Thought the car park, pay and display, was rather expensive at £8 for the day but going from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding was fantastic with the sunlight on the water and spectacular scenery made the cost...More

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write your review. Normal services were resumed slightly later in the day when a relief skipper took over and the 11:15 ran as normal - it was never cancelled. Unfortunately this type of thing does occasionally...More

I used the Ullswater Steamers three times during my hillwalking break. The first time I took the boat from Glenridding to Howtown and then walked back along the shore path. This is a very convenient way of getting to the start of the walk, taking...More

Suggest as others you look on website. On the piers they do have timetables up and if you obtain a leaflet from the staff I am almost sure that times are on this too.

Depends on wether you stay on board or not. A straight stay on board last about 2 hours but you can get on and off at different places and take all day.
