This was a short visit as we were on a Rhine cruise and had docked in Andernach. The town wall and fortifications were excellent and extremely interesting. We wished we had been able to explore the town further.

Enjoyed a few hours wandering around this nice old town with its imposing towers and high defensive wall remains. Plenty of good info boards around the wall sections.
