This Government run Museum is maintained well. The important exhibits are neatly arranged with useful info. Still, a trained guide can throw more light on some important show pieces.

Model of Hampi Valley is good, otherwise, it's a pretty average visit. But entry is only 30 INR for all the monuments including the museum.

The main museum may be skipped as it tends to get repetitive. However, one must devote 10 minutes to check out the copies of photos taken by Alexander Greenlaw in 1856 to understand the extent of damage in which state the site had been rediscovered....More

Its in kamalpura and 12 km from hospet the statues,ancient coins ,sword and other artifacts are worth seeing.

Nice place to learn about the history of hampi and the civilization. Although parking in this place could be a problem so make sure you take care of that.
