Of all the beautiful monuments in Hampi, this is undoubtedly my most favourite! Beautiful, grand and artistic. Loved it. <3 I just wish we could actually experience the musical pillars in the temple. I can understand why visitors aren’t allowed to go in, but still.

They are open. Ticket cost is around 40 for museum, which can be used Vithala Temple on same day You can start your sightseeing from museum. It will give you birds eye view of Hampi and helps in planning your Trip

Hey, sorry for the delay in response. You do need a guy coz it is better to know the place well. Also, they charge around 200 - 300 rupees. i visited during the dusk when the liight was perfect for the shoot.
