If they ever finish restoring the tunnel and its rooms, it will be a more interesting site. Yet, because of its historical significance, it's worth taking a little time out of your schedule to visit it.

Had a guided tour through the main part of the tunnels and rooms - basically a lot of poured reinforced concrete - good guide - bring a torch or cellphone light

We asked at the tourist office office about visiting the Cold War Tunnel and one of the women working there took us on the tour. Yes, the tunnels are empty but they are very atmospheric and I felt that it really helped put the isolationist...More

This place seems like a great idea, but it is a cold tunnel with nothing inside. The guide rushed us through in what felt like 5 minutes. She just told us what was written on the doors. If you want to escape the heat, go...More

We explored the Cold War tunnels with a lovely and knowledgeable guide and feel we learnt a lot of interesting facts about Albania's past and present.

200 LEK entrance fee with guide provided. Spent maybe 20 min inside, not that much to to see, but anyhow I enjoyed the visit. Cool temperature inside which made it a great place to escape the Albanian summer for a while.

Not much descriptions or explanations! Good path to take if you wish to walk around the castle. Would be good to explain the purpose of the tunnel and its role during g the Cold War.

We were really looking forward to seeing these tunnels. Signs for the tunnels are the first thing you see as you drive into the town. We bought our tickets st the little tours booth from 2 bored young ladies. One took us into the tunnels...More

It was apparently dug out in the mid 70s and local people are still loathe to talk about it. The guides are very knowledgable, and are students working voluntarily, so they should be well tipped. it is symbolic of the period when Albania was a...More
