The bazaar has been restored but the affect of that is that it has become somewhat sterile. All of the shop fronts are now identical and it all seems to lack any real character. I didn't visit before the restoration but I think it has...More

Enjoyed the walk through the streets, admiring the brightly coloured rugs etc displayed on the walls and shop windows. Most shops seemed to sell the same sort of thing and whilst it was reasonably priced we didn’t make a purchase.

Great place to see very clean and a bit touristic.... It has a nice vibe to it, just walk around and suck in the atmosphere.

The Bazaar has many little shops including some traditional places and some junky places with stuff imported from Turkey. There was a lovely wood cutter and a man who did stone cutting who was just marvelous to talk to. You can also find all kinds...More

My review is not just for the Bazaar but for the entire old town. Gjirokaster is a unique place with an old world unspoilt charm. We were lucky to have visited in early May when there were less crowds and loved every moment we spent...More

I had lunch at Kujtimi and I was happy with the food and service. I only suggest it for nice weather though, sitting outside is very nice. Inside area is small and I did not enjoy it much. In the same area I tried Kodra and... More
