Pat on duty the day we visited and she was a wealth of information about the exhibits and the town. We enjoyed discussing some of the history displayed with her.

Well done local museum. Learned much had occurred in Randolph County over the decades. Walk in button factory is interesting. All free for the viewing. Town Square it sits on is worth a look too.

I stopped by this museum during a conference for work. I really enjoyed this place. Each room was themed with appropriate objects to represent the time period. Rooms included "Doctor Office", "Pearl farming", "Military", etc. They had a lot of interesting objects.

Great free museum to visit. It had very interesting exhibits, even a whole building was inside where they used to make buttons! My kids were 7 and 12 and want to go back! Don't miss this stop!

The woman who run the place are very friendly, great displays on local history and randolph county. Especially the history of fresh water pearls. The gift shop is limited, selling a few odds and ends, but if passing thru worth a stop. Admission is free.
