El Santuario de Santo Niño de Atocha. The Santo is very small, but beautifully located in a magnificent old gold - gilded church. The Child is said to roam the hills/valleys, particularly at night, bringing aid/comfort to the needy, and thereby wearing out his shoes....More

Very small little town, rustic. The church is very nice inside, andd outside nice place to sit around, buy and ice cream some street side little stands. The huicholitos selling very cute handmade bracelets and other things. A quick one day trip.
