The museum teaches a lot of things about seashells, including taxonomy, applications to medicine, and conservation. Taking in the various shapes, colors, sculptures, and patterns of these gems of the sea is a feast for the eyes and a balm to the soul. What enhances the experience are the owners and staff, who are wonderful and accommodating.

The food is great, and they even offer cocktails, which are perfect for an afternoon of
lazing around or an evening of socializing with friends.

For visitors to Siquijor, Marelle’s is a must. What better way to complement a vacation than to learn about the gifts of the sea then take a delicious meal and refreshing drink, right?

This place is brand new and the decor is very well made with super lighting to put all the displays in value. While this is asuperb collection of seashells, we were surprised to visit an underwater museum without any aquariums and live creatures. This is a good supplemental attraction on the tour of the island. Mostly interesting for shell collectors!

The newly opened museum boasts of different shells from the Philippines. Shells are organized according to their scientific names/species. Definitely a must-see when visiting Siquijor. Also strongly recommended for students as an educational tour destination.

Very educational museum and guide was knowledgeable of her subject. The collection was very extensive of local species. They had samples of the golden cowrie and Gloria Maris. I never knew there were heart shaped shells.

It also had an extensive stamp collection. Toilet available in premises.

We were not able to try the restaurant.

We mainly went there for the museum, but as it was lunch time we decided to have food at their restaurant as well.

We ordered the food, and while waiting for it to arrive we were allowed free entrance to the museum.

The collection of sea creatures is very impressive and i just loved the stamp Collection with from all over the world.

The food was ok - nothing to complain.
