You can see this in about an hour. It's not a big place, but it is laid out so as to give visitors a good overview of the Mayan world as viewed by the Mayans themselves.

This was our second visit to this museum. I like it. It is small compared to other museums but it is very interesting and informative. It is worth your time to visit if you are interested in the Mayan culture.

There is a lot to see when you visit this Museum. First we enjoyed multiple rooms of original art work - For Free! Then we paid to tour the 3-story Maya Museum. Gorgeous original Maya art, sculptures and artifacts were displayed upon entry. You can...More

I have been to many museums both large and small...after visiting this one my first thought was "what a waste of money," The garden in the court was was nice, not wonderful and the venue lacked substance

Informative museum with some nice artifacts. The display is well done over a few levels and the little court yard has an nice display of art.

This place has a wealth of artifacts from the Mayan civilization and there is also a garden set up at back which is a replica of a myan village complete with white limestone roads and a well.

The museum is really well done, informative, and interesting. When I was there, there wasn't a crowd so I got to roam around freely. My only complaint is that several of the lights on the displays were out so I was unable to see or...More

From the outside it looks like a small city museum, very unimpresive but once inside... man, that was a nice surprise. Well kept and great displays, first class. It's small but well put together, I will say is worth your time.

Well worth an hour of your time, stop in here to learn about pre-colombian Mayan culture. An interactive screen lets you calculate numbers in the Mayan system of dots, lines, and zeros. I arrived at 9 when they opened and got in for free because...More

Really great museum that incorporates a perfect balance of information and audiovisual art, including artifacts, models, lighting, and art pieces to educate you about the rich history of this area. Don't miss the art exhibits that are in the buildings bordering the inner gardens. All...More
