Not much to do, very hot and humid. Still the "aqui nacio mexico" Is very nice sign with the statue next to it, the clock and the sea view.

The malecon in Chetumal runs for a fair distance along the rocky shore of the Atlantic Ocean, There are hotels & restaurants on the non beach side, it is a pleasant walk with a nice breeze on hot days, but little else.

Carts with unhealthy food, some rusty kiddie rides, a few trinket stalls, and a busy road, that's about it.

We walked for half an hour along the Malecon by the ferry terminal on a very quiet day, some areas had a very unpleasant odour and the area was very unattractive.

Located right on the Bay of Chetumal, it is a very nice place to get your morning walk in or an evening stroll to watch the sunset. Very clean and safe area.

This is a nice relaxing spot near downtown Chetumal. Across from the government palace is a great spot to take some photos, as it is frequently not crowded.

The malecon is definitely somewhere to visit when in Chetumal. Not only will you be right on the sea side but there are a few restaurants along it and even a park with a really high slide into the water. Be careful, however, as the...More

The Malecon in Chetumal is simple and you can have a stroll with ocean view. There is pretty much nothing else to see in Chetumal. This city is not exactly a touristic hotspot :)
