u can know more about the trading history, relationship with malaysia and development of songkhla as a port village. pretend to be thai can save some entrance fee. no air con, better bring your water when u go there. can see some models and watch...More

Lovely setting and building for this museum. Wooden floorboard clean and polished. Helpful staff and English speaking. Many different aspects of life in Songkhla and surrounding areas. Rice and rubber exhibits along with many interesting items of the fishing industry in the area. Not a...More

When i was there, renovation and restoration on going, so only upper floor didn't open for public, the rest, still ok

An essential visit to immerse yourself into the rich history of Songkhla. The architecture is wonderful, and so are the displays. furniture's and work of art.

The museum is open 9 AM - 4 PM, Wed.-Sun., and is closed on Thai national holidays. It costs about 160 baht, there are stairs to climb, and there is no AC. But if you are in reasonable shape, enjoy seeing old architecture, artifacts, learning...More

Spent a few hours at this museum. Articles and displays were very interesting. Documentation and videos were also written or had subtitles in English. The outside grounds were also very beautiful with beautiful flowers. A great learning adventure.

Songkhla museum is a must visit place in Songkhla. You will learn and understand the history of people here. Check the opening day first, as we go there on Monday and it s closed.
