Tang Kuan Hill is situated near the beach in Songkhla province. We could took the sky train to the top of the hill. I could look around 360 degree of Songkhla province from the viewpoint. This is recommend to go!

Go up the hill the easy way by funicular railway, or climb the 300 stairs from the other side, then enjoy the views. This place is a must do for visitors to Songkhla town.

The lift to get to the top can get very crowded and is probably not an ideal experience if you're inclined to claustrophobia. But the view from the top is decent, although there's not too much to be seen. There are a few nice buildings...More

There are multiple ways to ascend Tang Kuan Hill in Songkhla. One of them is by taking a cable car (though enclosed, so no view on the way up). There are stairs from many sides, it seems, and at least on the northern side of...More

And being used to the normal 5-10 times overpricing for tourists, I was really happy to see that the cable car was cheap for all visitors. The temple/pavilion is also stunning, with the monkeys running around. A must see if in this area

This hilltop Buddhist can be accessed by walking or a short "Funicular Ride" (cost US$ 0.90). At the base of the hill is an "a added attraction--- loads of "hungry, ice cream loving" monkeys-- and places to buy ice cream etc. The views at the...More

This temple on a hill offers outstanding views of Songklha and the sea. After an unimpressive funicular ride(tracks are enclosed and blinded) you alight on a hilltop temple. There are 360degree views and lots of temple action.

Coconut ice cream stalls outside of the entrance. Magnificent city view and sea view from the top of hill. However, there is entrance fee to access the hill. Lots of monkeys 🐒 at the bottom of hill.
