I walked around this strange mall and after looking for some shops I eventually gave up. It's very hard to navigate and get around to find shops you may want. The besr thing is the supermarket here.

The Mall's Design in the outside look nice but what about the inside of the mall you ask? The ceiling is damaging, Restaurants closing with barely any restaurants only showed up crappy ads that say whatever things they had, The 1st floor looks like a Public market and horrible internet connection, Well at least they had remaining stores still alive but We already have SM Legazpi, So whatever worst Ayala Mall in the Philippines.

This mall is dated. We go there to kill some time and there was a fashion show ongoing. Which made it more crowded and cramped with people while no aircon.

The place is loud and hot inside and small but it has a family lounge where you can charge phone, nurse in private, change diaper and avoid the noise and heat. It's also very clean. Bathroom next to it is also clean with tissue and soap - something not common in most shopping centers in the area. Free wifi is also available although connection speed is slooow. LCC Supermarket is airconditioned making grocery shopping actually bearable.

There's plenty of "tricycle" outside the mall which will take you pretty much wherever you want to go in the area for less than $5.

Along with the other Malls in Legazpi, which are all excellent shopping and dining. You cannot go wrong to visit and enjoy great Filipino modern culture of old time traditions held by the local friendly people. You can send the whole day, with eating shopping and movies and possible local entertainment. With other Malls near by also. ENJOY!!!!

In this case "provincial" is used in the adjective sense of parochial, limited, insular (to wit, insulated from the larger cosmopolitan and urbane realm, at least some of which can be found in Manila. As one who grew up in, and lived most of his life in the United States, the Philippines is not nearly as sophisticated as natives would like to think. There are too many realities such as the fact that calls cannot be made from cell phones to landline phones, or the reverse. That is a given in the developed world, i.e. Western society, which can be found in nearby neighbours of the Philippines, such as Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and even increasingly so in Thailand. It is sad that the Philippines lags so far behind its neighbours, especially since it suffered nothing like the devastation of those other nations just mentioned, in and following World War II.

However, I didn't start this review to get on my soap box about conditions here. Ayala Malls brings to this small provincial a hint of the variety and expanse of material goods available in the wider world, and in a much more pleasant fashion than in any other venue in the region. Competing malls don't come close, relying on the overriding "native-only" preferences of a great many of the area's residents, most of whom have never experienced the world which they see and hear about in movies and on TV. Ayala Malls Legazpi is introducing the cosmopolitan to Albay residents in a way that most have never known, and that is good. If Filipinos are ever to rise, economically, educationally, and otherwise, to the level of their neighbours, it is only going to happen IF and when Filipinos start demanding it via their wallets and pocketbooks.
