Tagaytay has its normal share of trikes but here they all seem to be made by the same people 90% anyway and they are way too small for you average tourist, I'm 5'9'' and I could'nt sit anywhere near upright in them, also narrow and it was hard for my petite 100 pound fiance to get in as well, stick... Visiting Tagaytay. (G) = internet search This is not the usual tourist stuff but the nitty gritty of getting to Tagaytay City (G) to give its correct name. Having been retired here for more than a year I hope it is helpful. Tagaytay sits on the ridge of what was the worlds biggest prehistoric volcano (G) Assuming you are coming... More

Tagaytay is a mere hours drive from Metro Manila when there is no traffic on an early morning. Two visitors arrived from Cebu that weekend and though they were Filipinos never had a chance to go toTagaytay. On the way up the Santa Rosa road, one will see undulating hills planted with spiky pineapples. Unending rows of the fruit that... More

Nice place to visit for a quick getaway. Beautiful scenery and easily accessible. We took the bus from Dasma however beware of traffic heading back to Manila. While you are there make sure to try the delicious buko pie.

Tagaytay is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours travel from Metro Manila and every year my family visits this place to enjoy the cool weather, ambiance, atmosphere and things the place offers. This year is no exception, as we enjoyed the company of my wife's tito and tita and my nephew. Unlike a decade or 2 before, Tagaytay today is... More

We went on a quick business weekend and I was impressed. They have a very sound infrastructure. Traffic was flowing even with the local tricycle present. Plenty of places to eat and the Lake has a phenomenal view. I am seriously considering making the move there.

Tagaytay city always being compared to Baguio ha sits own charm, The Taal Volcano Serene backdrop everywhere is inviting and the cool breeze and line dup restaurants. This is one of the top recommended places to bring foreign guests to (due to the cool weather) unfortunately traffic is very heavy especially during weekends. If you are patient enough, good food and breathtaking view awaits.
