I stayed at the Wind Residences (WR) next door for 5 weeks and although this shopping center was not the best I seen, it surely was convenient and had all that we needed... including clothes, Robinsons supermarket, and even a Sun shop for mobile wifi. I could not fault this place, except for the chinese shop there. I tried all the food shops like Shakeys and the Pizza hut around the corner at WR and other food in Robinsons and had no issues with food poison.... until I tried the chinese food. I am not sure of the name but it is on the corner with glass windows all around. The food I had was Beef and noodles. It smelt like dish water and tasted much the same. Wish I did not eat it because I had accute gastro for 24 hours after. Steer clear of this place.

This area provides good view and seating to people who would like to shop and be entertained on weekends as there are some shows depending on season.

We stayed during a weekday for a quick tour. The place was exactly what everyone said: good view! That basically is what you're paying for. There's a mini mall close by with a Starbucks (not the one with the good view but a normal one), Nuat Thai massage, supermarket, pizza place, Samgyup, Hap Chan, appliance centre, local bakeshop. Across the hotel you'll find more restaurants and a Gerry's Grill. There's a condo unit by SMDC beside the hotel too, where there's a 7-11 and Ace Hardware. Sky Ranch is within the area, but it's quite a long walk. Location-wise, pretty ok but you'd still need a car to take you to the tourist places of interest. The hotel is grand, with a lot of function halls. Staff is friendly. The room is spacious, but needs freshening up. The wardrobe smells moldy so we didn't use it, the sheets are torn at the corners. The aircon only cools up to 22'C, so it was colder outside and we opened the windows instead. The breakfast was ok; no bacon but local stuff like tocino, sweet sausages, etc. They have a pool, but no one swims in it, as it's not temperature controlled. The lift is surprisingly warm, no ventilation. All in all, average stay, meets your basic needs, and again, you pay for the view of Taal in your room and the Sky Ranch at the hall.

We were pre-booked by a family member.

Positive things:
1. We found the place easily accessible from the Tagaytay-Nasugbu highway.
2. Parking was no problem.
3. Check-in was fast.
4. The hotel is well supported with various stores and outlets surrounding it - Starbucks, Robinson's Mall, a nearby 7-11, an Ace Hardware, etc.
5. The Lourdes Catholic Church is only 2 km away and with a jeepney ride. We actually did walk to church and traveled back to the hotel by jeepney. We thought parking in church would be a problem.

For the 120 dollars we paid for the night, we would not recommend this hotel for their very poor service and lack of quality on the basic amenities.

1. As first timers, for the price we paid, we expected an excellent breakfast buffet. We were extremely disappointed. To name a few:
- there very few selections
- they run out of butter and marmalade
- they served no eggs - only a badly cooked / prepared scrambled eggs were served when asked. The scrambled eggs were somewhat watery. It was actually on the buffet table, but because they could not manage the influx of a lot of customers on that Sunday morning, they practically run out of everything.
- the congee had no condiments - they were empty
- the service was slow as they seemed to lack the manpower for the number of customers on that morning
- Filipino breakfast selection was very limited, moreso with American or international buffet
- there was not one person managing the buffet table!

2. We went to the gym. With very limited equipment, one of the two treadmill machines was off and not working.

3. We called the front desk to inquire about the times of the masses of the Lourdes Church, 2km away from them, and no one could give an answer. When the front desk of a hotel answers with an "I don't know" and not even offer to find things out for the customer, that's really, really bad service. My wife called the church and got the correct information.

We are not coming back to this hotel and would not recommend this to our friends.

The supermarket is very well stocked, and even has a variety of items (like coffee) "traveler" sized. The rest of the mall is mostly fast food joints, which with the variety of independent restaurants in the area are not useful. There are also a few other shops and a large appliance store.

Nice enough hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with family and it had a reasonable size kitchenette area, dining area, lounge and balcony. The bathroom was shared between all of us and was massive. As a Hotelier, I would have put in a third bedroom in that space and made some extra revenue!! Room service was unfortunately unreliable, so we ended up nipping out to the local 7-11 and a pizza place and bringing it back. Very secure parking and the views from the balcony are major plus points.

We arrived at Summit Ridge Promenade Tagaytay, at the early evening of December the 31st. It was very cold and felt like 18 degrees Celsius with a wind chill even colder. There was a dinner buffet with a band for the countdown celebration and after dinner we proceeded to the open walkways for a live countdown. There was flowing drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic for the kids. The atmosphere was fun and the live DJ music was on. At midnight, there was a fireworks display for about 10 minutes despite the rain. It was an unforgettable experience especially with your loved ones. .
